Projects

In addition to our routine work, we usually have dozens of unique and exciting projects on our plate at any given time.  Below you will find information about some of current projects, all of which will have a great impact on the students, faculty and staff at UCF...

PeopleSoft 9.0 Upgrade
The Enterprise Application Development & Administraton group will begin an upgrade project in fall 2008 for the PeopleSoft Student and Human Resource system. This project will take the system from the current 8.9 version to 9.0. June 11, 2009 is the targeted go live date for the implementation.

Beginning in fall 2008, meetings with the various campus advisory groups will be held to review the new system's features. The upgrade will provide enhanced features for employees, students and advisors in the areas of self service functionality. Administrative office's will have additional functionality for compliance and regulatory requirements.

Microsoft & Adobe Expand Software Licensing Program
Microsoft and Adobe have modified the UCF Student Licenses program to include UCF staff and faculty. Now staff and faculty can get huge discounts on the most popular products that once were available only to UCF students. Computer Store Green Page
Checkout the new 'Going Green' page on the Computer Store web site, www.cstore.ucf.edu, for technology related green products and programs. Did you know you shouldn't toss ink and toner into the trash? Drop it off to the Computer Store or PC Service Center to have it recycled instead. There is also a link to the Sustainability Conference and the UCF Recycling program on the Going Green site.
